Embroidery and block print on cotton muslin with red coral and rose quartz beads.
I had thought of this phrase "Make It Work" as an inspirational phrase. Always inspired by Sonia Delaunay, Art Deco and Russian Constructivism, I created a design that was hard edged. I wanted to make this hard edged design softer, so I used pinks, purple, and red. The rose quartz also softens and gives a different to the phrase. Rose quartz is believed to strengthen relationships and recommended as an addition to the home to increase loving feelings. Red coral encourages luck and fertility. Now the Make It Work becomes about making a relationship work. This is a great addition for the home.
